1988 Winchester 400 Winner Named Grand Marshall for 2025 Race
WINCHESTER, September 27, 2025 --- Winchester Speedway is excited to announce the return of 1988 Winchester 400 winner Ted Musgrave as Grand Marshall for the 54th running, presented by Vore’s Welding and Steel. Ted, a second-generation stock car driver from Waukegan, IL, has found great success across his career in both American Speed Association (ASA) and NASCAR (Winston/Busch Cup, Xfinity, and Craftsman Truck) series. In addition to his big win at the World’s Fastest Half Mile, Musgrave was named ASA National Tour Rookie of the Year (1987), brought home the Snowball Derby Trophy (1988), and won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship (2005). Since retiring, Ted has fostered the dreams of the third Musgrave generation with sons Justin & Ted Jr. following in his motorsports footsteps. During the upcoming Winchester 400 weekend, we will celebrate his achievements, share in his stories, and watch him lead us into another great event on the highbanks.
